¡Mi y algunos de mis nuevos amigos explorando la cuidad de Oviedo!

¡Mi primera días en Oviedo!

¡Estoy en Oviedo, finalmente! Tuve una horrible experiencia llegando a España. Me tomé cinco días para llegar a Madrid porque he sido en la listo espera para mi vuelo. Espero todo el día en el aeropuerto en Salt Lake City. Después, dormí en Nueva York dos noches y dormí en Madrid una noche. También mi maletas ha sido pérdidas. ¡Era horrible! Finalmente he ido a Oviedo en el autobús, entonces mi autobús se rompió. Mi suerte ha sido muy mala. Pero después de llegar a Oviedo todo ha sido bien. Vivo con mi madre, Maria. Maria es muy simpática. Vivimos en la calle Avd. del Mar. Mi casa a solamente diez minutos de campus. Está muy bien caminando de mi casa al campus. También mi casa a solamente veinte minutos de La Catedral. ¡Mi primero dos días he sido muy divertido! ¡Me gusta la ciudad de Oviedo porque es muy hermosa y las personas locales son muy divertidas y simpáticas!

Anticipation

Wow, I cannot believe that I leave for Spain tomorrow!! To say that I'm excited would be an understatement. Words cannot describe how stoked I am for this amazing adventure that awaits me. I cannot wait to get there! I am arriving a day early and I will be staying in a little town named Leon. I'll be meeting up with my friend Gedis, and I think we are going to have a really great time exploring the cute town of Leon. Then it's off to Oviedo, where I will meet my host family! This is probably what I'm most nervous about, I hope that they like me and can understand my elementary Spanish speaking skills haha. Although I'm nervous about meeting my host family, I'm excited as well. I can't wait to live with them and be submerged into an entirely different culture. I'm going to be in situations where I'm out of my comfort zone but I couldn't be more excited for the challenge. I know that Oviedo is going to be such an amazing, and life changing experience. What I hope to gain and take away from my experience would be, new friends, traditions of the spanish culture, and better fluency in the spanish language.

Now I need to go finish packing :) See you all in Spain!
